Yin yoga places the emphasis on a slower-paced, deep stretching of the body’s fascia and connective tissue.
In this yin class, one pose is typically held for 3-5 minutes. A great way to get a low-impact stretch in the body. We’ll use our body’s own strength and range of movement to increase the flexibility of the hips and shoulders so it’s great for those spending long periods of time at a desk or behind the wheel.
We use bolsters, blocks, blankets and candles to help you undergo the ultimate yin experience. There will be plenty of time during our practice for meditation, a perfect way to be rested for the week ahead! Take the class at your own pace!
