This class is designed to support Everyone with restricted mobility.
We sit on a chair or a mat during this class. Depending on how the body feels that day, we use different types of equipment. It could be a chair, blocks, bricks, bolster, pilates ball, or small balls.
All these pieces of equipment will help to make poses accessible and allow the body to release tension. The sequence varies from class to class. This class is an effective alternative to traditional floor yoga. Yoga for mobility is therapeutic and gentle.
This class is for you if you suffer from:
- severe stiffness,
- high blood pressure (hypertension),
- chronic fatigue syndrome,
- vertigo, MS (depending on stage),
- arthritis (depending on stage),
- carpal tunnel syndrome,
- clinical depression,
- chronic pain.
The class will allow you to enjoy all the benefits of yoga and gently improve/regain the mobility of joints.
No previous yoga experience is needed.
