In our teen yoga class, we introduce Hatha yoga asanas (postures), and different breathing techniques. We practice relaxation and meditation.
There are many benefits of yoga for this age group. Yoga will help them to cope with everyday expectations of life, reduces anxiety, improves positive body image and body awareness. It relaxes the mind to think positively and strengthens the immune system and stamina.
The poses are gentle with the option of challenging the body and mind. Yoga helps with PMS and aids hormonal balance, mood swings.
